§ 37.15  DESCRIPTION OF PLAN; APPLICATION.
   (A)   Affirmative action is defined as analyzing the methods,  procedures and results of personnel actions to determine whether qualified workers have been excluded for reasons of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age or physical  handicap.  Affirmative action means taking every appropriate corrective action to bring about the desired equal opportunity in employment.
   (B)   The affirmative action plan applies to all departments, boards, commissions, divisions and agencies of the city governmental structures.  The city views the affirmative action program as a results-oriented program designed to enhance the opportunities of all groups represented in the plan.  The city recognizes that the ultimate success of this undertaking will be largely the result of the good faith efforts detailed in §§ 37.15 through 37.20.
