§ 156.014 NOTICE.
Where an owner or occupant cannot be reasonably reached by U.S. Mail at his/her regular place of business or usual place of abode or other legal residence, the Plumbing Inspector may, in addition to providing notice via U.S. Mail, leave a notice in a conspicuous place at the address where the unsanitary condition or condition detrimental to public health exists. If such posting of notice is elected, the posting of notice at the premises shall be deemed sufficient for proper service. The Plumbing Inspector shall wait 5 consecutive days after posting notice before taking further actions under this chapter, except for those actions authorized by §§ 156.016, 156.017 or 156,018 or where failure to act could endanger the health and safety of a resident.
