There is hereby created and established a Fire Department, an operating Department of the Village. The Fire Department shall consist of such full-time and part-time personnel and such other personnel as may be provided by the Mayor and Board of Trustees. The Mayor and Board of Trustees shall, from time to time, establish a list of authorized positions which shall be set forth in the Position Classification and Salary Plans as referenced and established in Section 1-7-5 of this Code.
