ADOPTING ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO. 2238

   AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS

   NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:

   Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village as adopted by the President and Board of Trustees on March 27, 1961 is hereby rescinded.

   Section 2. That the President and Board of Trustees hereby adopt the 1992 Official Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village, copies of which are available in the office of the Village Clerk.

   Section 3. That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.

   Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval and publication according to law.
