§ 153.152 RUBBISH AND GARBAGE.
   (A)   Accumulation of rubbish or garbage. All exterior property and premises, and the interior of every structure, shall be free from any accumulation of rubbish or garbage.
   (B)   Disposal of rubbish or garbage.
      (1)   General. Every occupant of a structure shall dispose of all rubbish or garbage in a clean and sanitary manner by placing such rubbish or garbage in approved containers. All rubbish or garbage shall be disposed of at least once a week.
      (2)   Burning. The burning of brush, trees or tree limbs shall only be allowed when approved and permitted by the city’s Fire Department. The burning of rubbish or garbage shall not be allowed.
   (C)   Rubbish and garbage facilities. The owner of every dwelling shall supply leak-proof and tightly-covered container(s) for the removal of rubbish and garbage.
      (1)   Construction sites. All construction sites shall have a minimum of one container of appropriate size on site for the removal of rubbish and garbage.
      (2)   Exception. In residential subdivisions, one container of appropriate size may be allowed in a central location if multiple lots are being developed concurrently.
   (D)   Appliances. Refrigerators, appliances and similar equipment shall not be discarded, abandoned or stored outside a structure.
