§ 51.05  USE OF WATER CUT-OFF RESTRICTED TO AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL.
   (A)   No one other than authorized personnel of the city shall use the cut-off in the meter box. For purposes of this section, AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL means:
      (1)   Water and sewer personnel; and
      (2)   A plumber licensed by the State of North Carolina or a plumber approved by the Director of Public Utilities.
   (B)   Authorization will allow licensed plumbers to perform repairs or test work to residents’ lines or laterals without the city’s involvement.
