(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
(B) In the event of the failure of any person to comply with provisions of §§ 51.01 through 51.13 of this chapter relating to sprinkler systems, the city may, after ten days’ written notice, disconnect the premises of such persons from the water system of the city. If the premises of any water customer are disconnected for violation of any of the provisions of §§ 51.01 through 51.13 of this chapter, then in that event the city will not reconnect such premises until an approved detector type check valve and meter has been installed on the fire service portion of the customer’s water system at the property owner’s sole expense. In such cases, the restoration of services may be made as soon as the customer involved has deposited with the city sufficient funds to cover the estimated cost of the installation of an approved detector type check valve and meter.
