To assist the Mayor in preparing budget recommendations and information related to financial forecasting to meet the needs of each department and the City as a whole by:
A. Estimating the amount of income the City anticipates to receive the next fiscal year;
B. Obtaining from the heads of all department an estimate in writing of the amounts required for the business and proper conduct of their respective departments during the next ensuing fiscal year, specifying same and the objects thereof in detail.
C. Developing a summary of expenditures to match against the income estimate.
D. Research investment strategies authorized by state law and present options to Council.
E. Any and all business reviewed by the Committee will be available to the City Council upon request. (Ord. 21-06, 5-11-2021)
