A. The Committee will be comprised of seven (7) members, including the Mayor who shall serve as Chair; two (2) Council Members; one (1) non-emergency, non-Public Works Authority employee who shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by a majority of the City Council; one (1) citizen with a sufficient background in engineering and/or construction, in the sole discretion of the Mayor, who shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by a majority of the City Council; two (2) citizens who shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by a majority of the City Council.
B. Membership in the Committee is at all times voluntary and any member may resign at any time by way of written notification of the Committee.
C. All appointed members shall serve a three (3) year term. Any appointed member of this Committee may be removed from membership by a majority of the City Council, with or without cause. (Ord. 21-06, 5-11-2021)
