12-4-11: LANDSCAPING AND NATURAL FEATURES:
   A.   Existing Natural Features: Existing natural features which would add value to residential development (such as trees or watercourses) shall be considered for preservation in the design of the subdivision. No trees shall be removed from any proposed subdivision, nor any change of grade of the land made, until the planning commission has approved the preliminary plat.
   B.   Preservation Of Trees: All trees, etc., to be preserved, shall be shown on the sketch plat.
   C.   Trees Welled And Protected: All trees shall be welled and protected against change of grade, wherever necessary.
   D.   Approval Of New Trees, Landscaping: New trees or landscaping to be provided by the developer shall be subject to review and approval by the planning commission, in accordance with the city's beautification policies and plans.
   E.   Applicable Provisions: Applicable provisions of this code, as well as section 12-3-10 of this title, shall be considered. (Ord. 1-10-85, 1-10-1985, eff. 2-10-1985)
