12-1-7: OFFICIAL RECORDING:
   A.   Plat Approval: No land shall be subdivided or a plat filed within the jurisdictional area of the municipal planning commission of the city until the subdivider (or his agent) shall obtain the approval of said planning commission (and the city council, if the plat is within the city's corporate limits) for the sketch plat, the preliminary plat and the final plat of the proposed subdivision.
   B.   Filing Upon Approval: No plat or other land subdivision instrument shall be filed in the office of the Comanche County clerk until it shall have received approval, as herein required.
   C.   Time Limit: All plats of record (i.e., final plats) shall be filed within two (2) years of the date of final approval by the municipal planning commission, and no lots shall be recorded as transferred by the Comanche County clerk regarding any final plat, until such plat is filed.
   D.   Failure To Record: Failure to record the plat within two (2) years of said date of approval shall void all approvals thereto. (Ord. 1-10-85, 1-10-1985, eff. 2-10-1985)
