A. Arrest Warrant Form: Except as may otherwise be provided in this code, upon the filing of a complaint, approved by the endorsement of the city attorney or by the municipal judge, there shall be issued a warrant of arrest. (1991 Code § 11-16; amd. 2013 Code)
B. Execution Of Warrant: It shall be the duty of the chief of police to execute such warrant as promptly as possible, either: 1) personally; 2) through a duly constituted member of the police force of the city; or 3) through any other person lawfully authorized to act. (1991 Code § 11-16)
