1-9-6: CLERK OF THE COURT:
   A.   Duties: The city clerk-treasurer, or a deputy designated by said clerk-treasurer, shall be the clerk of the court. Duties of the court clerk shall include the following:
      1.   He shall assist the Municipal Judge in recording the proceedings of the court and in preparing writs, processes and other papers;
      2.   He shall administer oaths required in proceedings before the court;
      3.   He shall enter all pleadings, processes and proceedings in the dockets of the court;
      4.   He shall perform such other clerical duties relating to the proceedings of the court, as the Municipal Judge shall direct;
      5.   He shall receive and receipt for forfeitures, fees, deposits and sums of monies payable to the court; and
      6.   He shall be responsible for placing, or having placed, all monies so received by him (except such special deposits or fees as shall be received to be disbursed by him for special purposes), in the General Fund of the City, or in such other fund and in such manner as the City Council may direct, by motion or resolution.
   B.   Bond: The Clerk of the Court shall give bond to the City in the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). (1991 Code § 11-10)
