10-1-4: CONTRACT FOR SERVICES; EXPENDITURES:
   A.   Contract For Professional Services: The planning commission shall have the authority to contract for necessary professional services, within the limits of any appropriations fixed by the city council. All compensation for such services shall also be fixed by said city council.
   B.   Other Expenses: The planning commission may incur other necessary expenses, within the limits of the city council appropriations, to carry out its purposes and responsibilities. (1991 Code § 15-4)
