1-8-3: SUCCESSION IN OFFICE:
   A.   Continuance In Office: All officers and employees of the city, under any and all previous ordinances, shall continue in the offices and employments which they respectively hold, after this code goes into effect.
   B.   Books And Records To Successor: All books, monies or other property belonging to the city, and in charge or possession of any officer of the city, shall be delivered to his successor. (1991 Code § 1-187)
