1-5-2: FORM OF GOVERNMENT:

The municipal government provided for the city shall be the statutory aldermanic form of government. All powers of the city shall be exercised in the manner prescribed by this code, future ordinances or state law; provided, that this code and all future ordinances are not repugnant to the state constitution and laws. (1991 Code § 1-2; amd. 2013 Code)
