No person shall operate a bowling alley between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 9:00 a.m., or permit any person to be or remain in any bowling alley any day of the week between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 9:00 a. m. A bowling alley may be open for business on Sunday between the hours of 2:00 p. m. and 12:00 midnight only. This section, however, shall not be construed to prevent regular employees from performing necessary work with in the premises.
