(a) No railroad company nor any engineer or conductor employed by such railroad company shall operate or cause to be operated any locomotives at a speed greater than thirty-five miles per hour across any public grade crossing within Municipality.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02.
