(a) All full-time employees shall receive personal days to be used at their discretion as follows:
(1) Employees with two years of continuous service with the Village shall receive four personal days per year.
(2) Employees with five or more years of continuous service with the Village shall receive five personal days a year.
(3) Employees with ten years of continuous service shall receive six personal days a year.
(b) All personal leave must be pre-approved by the employee's supervisor or other appointing authority prior to use.
(c) Unused personal leave may not be carried over to the following year except as defined in § 246.09.
