235.03 DANGERS OF DUI ACCOUNT.

   (a)   The Finance Director is hereby authorized to establish an account known as the Dangers of DUI Account. (Adopting Ordinance)

   (b)   The share of any fine imposed by a court against any person for a violation of Ohio R.C. 4511.19, or Section 434.01 of the Traffic Code, and as designated in Ohio R.C. 4511.99 and Section 434.01 of the Traffic Code, shall be deposited into this Account.

   (c)   The Police Division shall use the funds deposited into such Account only to pay those costs it incurs in enforcing Ohio R.C. 4511.19 or Section 434.01 of the Traffic Code and in informing the public of the laws governing the operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, the dangers of operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and other information relating to the operation of a motor vehicle and the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
