It is the duty of the Police Division to enforce the provisions of this chapter. The Chief of Police shall assign such officer and members of the Police Division as he may determine necessary to the duty of enforcing the provisions of this chapter. In the event of fire or other emergency, members of the Fire Division may direct traffic and otherwise assist the Police Division, notwithstanding any other provisions of this chapter.
