Any fire lane parking violation shall not be considered a misdemeanor. Any person violating parking in fire lanes shall be fined a sum of not less than ten dollars ($10.00). Any person cited for parking in a fire lane shall remit the amount of ten dollars ($10.00) within seventy-two hours. If remittance is not postmarked within seventy-two hours, the remittance shall be increased to twenty dollars ($20.00).
