155.31 PERSONAL DAYS.
   (a)   The Chief of Police, in addition to all other leave benefits, is hereby granted two personal days leave for 2023 and no additional days in future years which are to be taken within the year earned or forfeited.

   (b)   The Fire Chief, in addition to all other leave benefits is hereby granted two personal days leave for 2023 and no additional days in future years which are to be taken within the year earned or forfeited.

   (c)   All full-time employees, not included in any bargaining units, shall earn one personal day in each calendar quarter (January to March, April to June, July to September and October to December) that the employee uses no sick leave. The personal days must be taken in the next immediate six-month period or be forfeited.
   (d)   Personal days shall only be taken with the advance approval of the Chief of the Division and when the work shift is at sufficient strength so the employer will not be required to have another employee work for the employee requesting the day off.
   (e)   Notwithstanding the foregoing, should the City of Eastlake find itself under a State of Emergency or Executive Order limiting the ability of City employees to exercise the rights herein, the Mayor has the authority to extend the right to exercise said rights for a period not to exceed ninety days after the State of Emergency or Executive Order has ended.
