A Community Relations Board is hereby established. It shall consist of a minimum of five members who hold no other public office; they shall be appointed by the Mayor and subject to the confirmation of two-thirds of all members elected to Council. The members of the Community Relations Board shall serve in said capacity with no compensation. The terms of the first appointed members shall be of such length and so arranged that the term of one member will expire each year, and the members thereafter will be appointed and shall hold office for terms of five years. Any vacancy occurring other than by expiration of term shall be filled for the unexpired portion of the term in the same manner as provided for the original appointment. The Community Relations Board shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 112.
