142.01 DUTIES; QUALIFICATIONS.
   (a)   There is hereby established the position of Parks Maintenance and Development Coordinator of the City. The duties of the Parks Maintenance and Development Coordinator shall include:
      (1)   To develop the landscaping of all Municipal grounds and facilities.
      (2)   To supervise and coordinate landscape plantings and grounds maintenance on public properties.
      (3)   To advise Council and the various City departments on landscaping projects on public properties.
      (4)   To assist in the development of public parks and properties.
      (5)   To assist in the maintenance of shade trees along the City rights of way.
   (b)   The Parks Maintenance and Development Coordinator shall be a qualified landscaper with a minimum of ten years experience.
   (c)   The Parks Maintenance and Development Coordinator shall be compensated at the rate of two hundred twenty dollars ($220.00) biweekly.
   (d)   The chairman or a member of the Park and Shade Tree Commission, or a chairman or member of any other board or commission, may also be designated as the Parks Maintenance and Development Coordinator.
