1521.03 PARTICIPATION IN PRE-PERMIT NOTIFICATION.

The City shall participate to the maximum extent practicable in the State of Ohio’s pre- permit notification process on all drilling activities proposed in the City on private property. Specifically, the Chief Building Official and Fire Chief shall attend pre-permit meetings and may request attendance by the City Engineer and other agencies at such meetings. The Chief Building Official and Fire Chief may also provide educational materials related to oil and gas drilling to interested residents.
