All rest homes, nursing homes and homes for the aged shall be equipped with both an automatic fire extinguishing system and fire alarm system which shall conform to the standards set forth in the regulations of the State Board of Building Standards and the State Fire Marshal and which shall be connected to an alarm system in the Police and/or Fire Divisions of the City.
