An electrical permit will be required for a small wind energy system or systems. Application for the permit shall be accompanied by a line drawing of the electrical components in sufficient detail to allow for a determination that the manner of installation conforms to the current adopted National Electrical Code. An engineering analysis stamped by an engineer registered in the State of Ohio showing compliance with the current adopted National Electrical Code shall be submitted with the line drawing at the time of application. The analysis may be prepared by the manufacturer of the small wind turbine provided that he/she is a registered design professional in the State of Ohio.
