Footers for fences shall be a minimum of 36” deep from grade. The posthole shall be a minimum of 8” in diameter. The supporting structural member for a wood fence shall be a minimum of 4” x 4” with a minimum of 2” of concrete surrounding the post.
All other fences shall be installed per the manufacture’s specifications and use the type of materials associated with that manufacturer’s fence type. The supporting structural members for other types of fences shall have a minimum of 2” concrete surrounding the supporting structural members and also shall have a footer depth of a minimum of 36”.
