1359.02 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter:
   (a)   ABOVE-GROUND/ON-GROUND POOL. See "Swimming pool."
   (b)   BARRIER. A fence, wall, building wall or combination thereof which completely surrounds the swimming pool and obstructs access to the swimming pool.
   (c)   HOT TUB. A permanent or a nonpermanent structure intended for recreational bathing, in which all controls, water-heating and water-circulating equipment are an integral part of the product or are installed or equipped separately.
   (d)   IN-GROUND POOL. See "Swimming pool."
   (e)   NON-PORTABLE. See "Swimming pool."
   (f)   POOL. See "Swimming Pool."
   (g)   PORTABLE. See "Swimming pool."
   (h)   RESIDENTIAL. That which is situated on the premises of a one, two, or three family dwelling.
   (i)   SPA. A permanent or a nonpermanent structure intended for recreational bathing, in which all controls, water-heating and water-circulating equipment are an integral part of the product or are installed or equipped separately.
   (j)   SWIMMING POOL. Any structure intended for swimming or recreational bathing that contains water or may contain water over 24 inches (610 mm) deep. This includes in-ground, aboveground and on-ground, permanent, temporary, portable, non-portable swimming pools, hot tubs, and spas.
   (k)   SWIMMING POOL, INDOOR. A swimming pool which is totally contained within a structure and surrounded on all four sides by the walls of the enclosing structure.
   (l)   SWIMMING POOL, OUTDOOR. Any swimming pool which is not an indoor pool. (Ord. 2007-032. Passed 4-10-07.)
