(a) Sanitary tap-in fees are based on $1,800.00 per single family home and based on $1,800.00 minimum per unit or $90.00 per fixture unit, whichever is greater, as determined by the Eastlake Building Department, for other than a single family residential unit.
(b) For a duplex, the tap-in-fee will be $3,600.00 and for apartments the tap-in fee will be as follows:

(d) Building conversions which derive use of the sanitary sewage system, require new sanitary tap-in-fees as determined by the Building Department based on the fixture unit values.
(e) Tap-in-fees are to be paid prior to starting work, to the Finance Director at Eastlake City Hall. (Ord. 1994-139. Passed 9-13-94.)
(f) All homes built, and in existence prior to July 9, 1986, which did not have access to sewer lines however were subject to and paid sewer levies, shall be exempt from paying the full tap-in fee. For properties in existence prior to July 9, 1986, the tap-in fee will be computed giving a credit of forty-six dollars ($46.00) per year for each year prior to July 9, 1986, but said tap-in credit shall not exceed the current tap-in fee.
