939.31 FAILURE TO REPORT ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGES.

Any user who fails to notify the City or POTW of an accidental discharge of a prohibited waste material within one hour of such discharge unto a sewer or waterway, shall be subject to a fine of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per discharge. Any damage to the sewerage system or wastewater treatment plant caused by such accidental discharge shall be the liability of the originator of the discharge.
