This section specifically prohibits any connection, old or new, of roof drains, footer drains, sump pump or any other source of nonsanitary water into the sanitary sewers in the City. The Public Service Director and/or the Chief Building Official or his representative shall give any person violating this section forty days to disconnect the illegal connection. Notice shall be sent by certified mail, stating the nature of the violation and a time of forty days to correct the violation. Any person who is aggrieved by the action of the Director and/or Chief Building Official or his representative may appeal his decision within ten days of the receipt of the notice to disconnect to the Court of Common Pleas of Lake County.
