Any person, firm, corporation or association to which a license is granted shall pay an annual fee of fifty dollars ($50.00). The fee for any new license issued after July 1 shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
Upon receipt of an application for renewal, the Director of Public Safety shall cause an inspection to be made of the premises to determine compliance to the safety and fire regulations and the requirements of this chapter. Upon proof of compliance, the Director of Public Safety shall renew the license upon payment of the annual fee.
All licenses granted under the provisions of this chapter shall expire on January 21. The license shall be displayed in a conspicuous place in the game room for which it was issued. No transfer of any license shall be permitted.
