Upon satisfactory fulfillment of the foregoing requirements, there shall be issued to the applicant a license, which shall be in such form as to contain the photograph and name of the licensee. Licenses shall be issued as of January 1 in each and every year, and shall be valid to and including December 31 next succeeding, unless previously revoked.
