751.03 LICENSE FOR VEHICLES; APPLICATION.
   No public hack shall operate for hire upon the streets of the City without obtaining a license from the Director of Public Safety after approval of Council. The licenses shall be issued as of January 1, and shall expire on December 31, next succeeding, unless sooner suspended or revoked by the Safety Director with the consent and approval of Council. Application for a license for a public hack shall be made by the owner, upon blank forms to be furnished by the Safety Director. The application shall contain the full name and address of the owner, the class of vehicle for which the license is desired, the length of time the vehicle has been in use, the number of persons it is capable of carrying, and the motor power thereof, together with the indemnity bond required by Section 751.08.
