All public highways crossing or intersecting park roads or drives, and all collector or main park roads and drives crossing or intersecting with other minor roads or drives are declared to be through streets and the intersection shall be posted accordingly with stop signs. Such signs shall bear the word "stop" in letters not less than six inches high, and shall be erected as near as practicable to the line of the highway or to the line of the main park road or drive.
All operators of vehicles shall bring their vehicles to full and complete stops at all posted "stop" signs.
