§ 32.03 LAW ENFORCEMENT TRUST FUND.
   (A)   The Police Chief is hereby authorized and directed to accept cash, vehicles and other property in accordance with R.C. § 2933.43.
   (B)   There is established the Law Enforcement Trust Fund, a Special Revenue Fund, in which the Police Chief shall deposit all cash received.
   (C)   The fund be used only to pay the costs of prolonged or complex investigations or prosecutions, to provide reasonable technical training or expertise, to provide matching funds to obtain federal grants to aid law enforcement, or for such other law enforcement purposes that Council determines to be appropriate.
   (D)   The Police Chief has the authority to determine whether vehicles and property will be sold, destroyed or retained for use by the Division of Police.
   (E)   All vehicles and property retained by the Division of Police shall be included as part of the Division's fixed assets and used solely for law enforcement purposes.
   (F)   Cash proceeds from the sale of vehicles and property shall be deposited in the Law Enforcement Trust Fund.
