There is hereby created and established a community reinvestment agency of Draper City, created pursuant to the Community Reinvestment Agency Act, set forth in Utah Code Annotated as amended. This agency was previously known as the Re-development Agency or RDA.
A. Purpose: The purpose of the community reinvestment agency is to assist the city in taking actions to reinvest, renew, provide economic development, and community development for specified areas of the city in accordance with the Community Reinvestment Agency Act, and as adopted by the city council.
B. Governing Body: The city council shall be the governing body of the community reinvestment agency.
C. Powers and Duties: The community reinvestment agency is authorized to enter into agreements generally in connection with community reinvestment matters and shall have the power to transact the business of the Agency and to exercise all the powers, rights, duties and privileges set forth in the Community Reinvestment Agency Act.
