The city may authorize the refunding of a fee paid hereunder which was erroneously paid or collected when written request for such refund is filed by the original permittee within one hundred eighty (180) days after the date of fee payment. The city will not authorize refunding of more than eighty percent (80%) of the permit fee paid when no work has been done under the permit. In addition, the city will not authorize refunding of more than eighty percent (80%) of the plan review fee paid when application for a permit is withdrawn or canceled before any examination time has been expended.
