Except as otherwise specifically provided in the Construction Codes, no building, structure, or building service equipment shall be erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a separate and appropriate permit for each building, structure, or building service equipment is first obtained from the City as set forth in chapter 3 of the Uniform Administrative Code and the provisions provided herein.
