No provider shall receive a franchise unless it agrees to comply with each of the terms set forth in this chapter governing construction and technical requirements for its system, in addition to any other requirements or procedures specified by the city or the franchise, including requirements regarding collocation and cost sharing. A provider shall obtain a city encroachment permit, pursuant to the encroachment permit ordinance, before commencing any work in the rights of way. (Ord. 247, 9-2-1997; amd. Ord. 1538, 4-19-2022)
