6-16-040: TEMPORARY USE PERMITS:
A.   Temporary Use Permit Required: Unless exempt under the provisions of this section, no person shall install or conduct any temporary use without obtaining a temporary use permit issued pursuant to the requirements of section 9-5-150 of this code and the development standards of this chapter, in addition to obtaining a temporary business license.
B.   Exemptions: Temporary use permits shall not be required for the activities listed in this subsection:
1.   Personal garage or yard sales conducted for two (2) days or less per month on a residential lot or parcel so long as no nuisance or traffic violations occur.
2.   Neighborhood lemonade or drink stands conducted by residents on their own property for passersby. (Ord. 908, 10-20-2009)
