A. No expenditure or encumbrance shall be made for any supplies, services or construction materials or project for the City in excess of the funded amount in the City budget as adopted or subsequently amended by the City Council.
B. Change orders in construction project contracts that cause the contract price to exceed the total project budget shall not be approved until reviewed and approved as a budget adjustment by the City Council. Change orders may be signed in accordance with section 3-3-030 of this chapter. (Ord. 1257, 5-2-2017)
