(a) Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 733.262, the position of Village Fiscal Officer is hereby created.
(b) The Village Fiscal Officer shall replace the position of the elected Clerk-Treasurer and shall include all duties of the elected Clerk-Treasurer.
(c) The office of Village Fiscal Officer shall become effective on March 31, 2008.
(d) The Mayor shall annually appoint the Village Fiscal Officer with the concurrence of a majority of Council.

(a) All interim moneys shall be invested interim deposits as defined in Ohio R.C. 135.01 in an eligible institution applying under the Uniform Depository Act or the Ohio Subdivisions Fund (Star Ohio).
(b) The Cemetery Trust currently in existence shall remain in full force and effect and its investment shall be according to the trust document currently in existence.

(a) The Clerk-Treasurer is required to provide a monthly financial statement of all fund balances and the unencumbered account balances of each fund.
(b) Such monthly financial statement is necessary in order for the Mayor, Council and Board of Public Affairs to exercise fiscal responsibility over the fund balances and the amounts available for expenditure from each individual account contained in each separate fund.

(a) There is hereby established a Village of Doylestown Police Training Fund.
(b) The fund is to be maintained by the Village Financial Officer.
(c) The fund shall be capitalized by money from the State of Ohio, Attorney General's Office.
(d) The fund shall be used for the training of police officers.
