7-2-20: VIOLATION AND PENALTY:
   A.   Misdemeanor: A violation of this chapter is a misdemeanor, punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.
   B.   Reduction To Infraction: A prosecutor may reduce the violation to an infraction, subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code, excluding court costs and fees. The charge shall be filed as a misdemeanor violation and may only be reduced upon motion of the prosecutor. There shall be no right to a trial by jury for an infraction citation or complaint.
