All building sewer joints and connections shall be made gastight and watertight and shall conform to the requirements of the current building and plumbing codes. Asbestos cement or concrete sewer pipe joints shall be of rubber ring, flexible compression type, similar and equal to joints specified for vitrified clay pipe. The joints and connections shall conform to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
