§ 51.06 PROPERTY IN UNIT OR CONDOMINIUM UNIT OWNERSHIP.
   (A)   Residential property in unit or condominium unit ownership refers to such property as defined by O.R.S. 100.055(11).
   (B)   All water furnished to general common elements and limited common elements of condominium property shall be furnished through a meter separate from that of those furnishing the units, and a separate connection charge per § 50.01 of this title shall be paid.
   (C)   Water may be supplied to the units by either of the following methods:
      (1)   Through a master meter, which shall supply all units. The billing shall be sent to such person as designated by the residential condominium association or, if no such person has been designated, to the residential condominium or any unit owner thereof. The unit owners and the residential condominium association shall be jointly and severally liable for payment of the monthly water service charge; or
      (2)   A separate service and meter with a suitable shutoff valve may be installed for each unit, in which event such unit shall be charged as a “single-family dwelling.” City employees shall have the right of access to all shutoff valves.
