In order to establish an Historical District or landmark site, the Historical Preservation Review Commission shall prepare or order to have prepared by the individual petitioning the Commission as described in Section 1353.01(b) a nomination describing the District or landmark site. This nomination will follow guidelines for nominating the Historical District or landmark site to the National Register of Historic Places (National Preservation Act of 1966) and shall consist of two parts: a physical description and a description of historic significance.
