(a) The water supply may be shut off from any premises for which the water bill remains unpaid thirty (30) days after the bill is presented or mailed.
(b) Whenever water services have been discontinued from the municipal water supply system to any lot, building or premises, the reconnection charge for resumed water service shall be the amount set forth in the annual fee resolution adopted by the corporate authorities which shall be paid before service is resumed.
